Salam 'alaykum! Picture yourself gazing up from the shadow of the Great Pyramid of Giza as your personal Egyptologist guide leads you on an exclusive tour apart from the hustling crowds. Zip through bustling Cairo in the comfort of your private vehicle as your dedicated driver escorts your group through an illuminating exploration of Old Cairo’s 6th-century mosques and ancient Coptic churches – by way of a hidden spot serving the best koshari and Egyptian tea in the city.

Luxuriate in your palatial five-star hotel in the evening, once a respite for visiting royalty and dignitaries, and soak in sweeping views of the majestic pyramids, their facades framed by the setting desert sun. Explore the exalted tombs of the Valley of the Kings and decipher enigmatic hieroglyphics with the help of your knowledgeable guide. Set sail on the glittering Nile aboard a traditional felucca for a sunset cruise.

This is the once-in-a-lifetime experience awaiting you with our newest travel opportunity, now booking for March 30 to April 6, 2025.

Day 1  Arrive in Cairo and transfer to our hotel in Giza, within view of the great Pyramids. After meeting our professional egyptologist who will accompany us throughout the week, we'll treat the group to a welcome dinner.

Day 2  Experience the ancient capital of Memphis including a private guided tour to the Great Pyramids, the Sphinx, and to Saqqara -- home to the first pyramid, and to the oldest complete stone building complex in history.

Day 3  Today we travel to Luxor, known in ancient times as Thebes, among the oldest inhabited cities in the world and built along the Nile. We'll overnight in Luxor for three nights.

Day 4  We explore the Valley of the Kings with special admission to several tombs including King Tut Ankh Amun and Ramesses VI, and then visit the Colossi of Memnon.

Day 5  Explore the nearly five-thousand-year-old Karnak Temple Complex, the second most visited site in all of Egypt, followed by a sunset cruise on the Nile.

Day 6  Visit the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Nobles, with special admission to multiple tombs at each location, including Queen Hatsepshut followed by exploring Deir el-Medina -- the ancient village where the men who worked on the Valley of Kings and Queens lived -- before we return to Cairo.

Day 7  We'll visit the Egyptian Museum and tour the Khan El-Khalili bazaar, the historic market established by the Mamluks. Today, the market is still the heart of the city and home to thousands of craftsmen, artisans, and unique food vendors.

Day 8  Say farewell to Egypt and depart for home.

Note that itinerary is subject to change based on weather, closures, or other issues.
